Our Story

In 2015, Will and Megan were in need of a dining room table for their home. After months of searching for a quality and affordable piece of furniture, they decided to just build one. It didn't take long for their friends and family members to start asking for custom furniture pieces of their own. Word spread quickly in the community about the timeless tables, and before they knew it, orders were coming in from people hundreds of miles away. They decided to name the new furniture business after their first daughter, Maisy. Their top selling table in named after their second daughter, Monroe.
They opened their first retail location in 2017, in Delaware City, DE. They realized that they needed decor items to fill space and match the furniture that they were creating. After partnering with a few local artists and allowing them to sell their goods in the store, they noticed the response was great. Customers loved the products, and artists loved that Maisy's was creating an environment that supported them. Megan and Will began to bring more artists and craftsmen into their store, both large and small, from individual artists to large craft businesses, allowing them all an outlet to sell their goods, get exposure, and perfect their craft. Today, with dozens of artist/vendor partnerships, every item that Maisy's sells helps support those who create.
In 2017, Maisy’s Market, LLC partnered with the Madagascar Cooperative Foundation. Every piece of furniture purchased at Maisy’s provides at least one of the following for an individual or family in Madagasar:

·      Seeds to feed a family of 6 for an entire year
·      A 12-week nutrition/gardening or business course
·      A life-changing business loan
·      A 12-week course and a business loan combo
Today, every piece of farmhouse furniture is still made by hand in Wilmington, DE. The furniture is made with the belief that every family should be able to have a beautiful, timeless, and affordable piece of furniture to gather around for years and years to come.
